From 17 September 2026, generation credit prices on Elyum are increasing to approximately 180% of their previous level — an increase of about 80%, with rounding to whole credits.

Our previous supplier had to shut down operations. We are moving to a new supplier whose costs are significantly higher, so we can no longer maintain our old generation prices. We know this affects how far your credits go, and we are sorry for the disruption. We believe Elyum remains one of the most affordable places to create with leading AI models, and we hope to lower prices again when our supplier costs allow it.

Your subscription price and included credit allowance remain the same. Each generation now uses more credits. The composer, plan-card estimates and What your credits make calculator show the updated prices. The exact cost is shown before you generate; existing generation holds keep their original quote.

This pricing announcement is not a live service-status notice and does not mean maintenance is currently active. Check the current status in the studio. A generation failure or content-safety rejection alone does not indicate maintenance. The separate Free-plan and complimentary CPP pauses described below are account policies, not evidence of a platform-wide outage.

These are fixed allowances: a larger credit option or a separate credit purchase does not add kills. If you are already subscribed, your current billing period keeps its existing kill allowance. The new allowance applies when your subscription renews or you purchase a new plan. Your account shows the allowance that applies to you now.

If you do not want to renew under these terms, cancel auto-renewal before your next payment from Billing & Credits. Your current subscription continues until the end of its paid period. No DM is needed to cancel.

If the new prices no longer work for you, email [email protected] from the email address registered to your Elyum account. Include your Stripe transaction ID and the payment you would like us to review. We will process your partial refund within 48 hours of receiving these details.

The refund reflects both the credits and the kill allowance you have used for the payment being refunded. Kills return generation credits inside Elyum, but they still use a paid supplier generation, so used kills count when calculating a cash refund.

Refund = amount paid × max(0, 1 − credits used ÷ credits purchased − kills used ÷ kill allowance) − any refund already issued.

The final refund cannot be less than zero or more than the payment remaining after earlier refunds. Credits returned by a kill are not counted again as used credits; that use is counted in the kill allowance. Failed generations do not count as used credits or kills. Promotional credits are not cash purchases. If a purchase has no kill allowance, the kill portion is zero.

We use the credits and kill allowance attached to the payment being refunded, including the preserved allowance for an existing billing period. For example, an existing $9 Plus payment with 900 credits and 5 kills:

For a new $9 Plus payment with 900 credits and 2 kills, using 1 kill with all credits remaining leaves a $4.50 refund. Using 100 credits and 1 kill leaves $3.50. These examples assume no earlier refund.

Free users cannot generate assets for the time being because we cannot cover the new supplier costs. Existing accounts and saved assets remain available. We will share an update if free generations resume.

Complimentary Creator Partner Program (CPP) generations are temporarily paused because we cannot currently cover their supplier costs. Independently purchased credits and paid subscriptions remain eligible for generation, subject to the current service status and account limits. We will share an update if complimentary partner generations resume.
