The kill allowance, explained

About one free kill for every video your plan can render — and what does (and doesn't) consume one.

Kills return the held credits for a take you do not want. They are limited per billing period.

New subscriptions and renewals from 17 September 2026

  • Plus: 2 kills.

  • Pro: 10 kills.

  • Ultra: 25 kills.

Each new subscription period grants the fixed allowance for its plan; the credit option does not change the size of that grant, and top-ups do not add kills. Each allowance expires after 30 days or its earlier paid-period end. Renewing or upgrading early gives the new allowance its own deadline without extending older kills. Your account and Billing & Credits show your actual allowance, kills used and reset date.

Free asset generation is temporarily paused. Free accounts retain their existing kill allowance for reviewing prior takes.

What consumes a kill

Killing a take returns its full credit hold and uses kills by model and resolution. Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 use 1 kill at 480p, 2 at 720p and 4 at 1080p; Seedance 2.0 at 4K uses 8. Wan 3.0 uses 1 kill at 480p or 720p and 2 at 1080p. Every other model, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini included, uses 1 kill. The confirmation shows how many kills a take uses before you kill it, and a kill that needs more than you have left is refused. Keeping a take, leaving it undecided and failed renders do not use kills. Failed renders refund automatically.

If you run out, you can keep takes or leave them undecided; killing is paused until the allowance resets. You can cancel auto-renewal from Billing & Credits before the next payment.

For cash refunds following the supplier change, read Price increase — 17 September 2026. The calculation accounts for both used credits and used kills, using the allowance belonging to that payment.
