From 17 September 2026, Free users cannot generate assets because our previous supplier shut down and the replacement supplier is significantly more expensive. This applies even if a Free account has a credit balance. Existing accounts, saved assets and kept downloads remain available.

We have not announced a date for free generation to resume. Do not buy a credit top-up expecting it to remove the Free-plan pause; it does not change your plan. Paid subscriptions remain able to generate.

Free registration does not require a card. Our fraud checks may grant up to 100 welcome Credits; the grant is not guaranteed and does not override the generation pause. Existing credits are retained. Your account shows the kill allowance available for reviewing previous takes; newer Free accounts have 1 kill per month and older accounts may retain a different allowance.

Welcome Credits are granted once: up to 100, when our fraud checks grant them. The Free plan has no monthly allowance, so they are never topped up again, and moving back to Free from a paid plan grants nothing. Unspent welcome Credits do not expire while you stay on Free.

Generating with welcome Credits needs a linked Discord account (Account → Security). The Discord account must be at least 6 months old and a member of our Discord server, and one Discord account unlocks one Elyum account. A plan, a top-up or a redeemed code removes this step. Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 are not available on welcome Credits; they need a plan or purchased Credits. None of this overrides the generation pause above.
