Your first render: preview, verdict, keep

How the Keep/Kill loop works, step by step.

Every generation on Elyum ends in a verdict. Here's the loop:

1 · Generate

Pick what you're making (or let Elyum route the model for you), write your prompt, and press Generate. The exact Credit price sits on the button before you press it — video is priced per second at the resolution you picked, images per render. The amount is held, not charged.

2 · Judge the previews

Renders come back as watermarked previews. Look at them properly — play the video, zoom the image. Nothing is billed while you decide. Previews stay judgeable for 72 hours.

3 · Keep or kill

  • Keep — the hold becomes the charge, and the clean, full-quality file unlocks. No watermark, yours to download and use anywhere, commercial work included.

  • Kill — the full hold returns to your balance the moment you click. You were never charged, so there's nothing to refund partially.

Failed renders (errors, timeouts, QC failures) refund themselves automatically and never touch your kill allowance.

One caution: don't let previews sit. If a preview expires after 72 hours it is released like a kill — and an expiry spends a kill from your monthly allowance without giving anything back.
